What’s The Function was founded in November 2017 by following my heart and taking a leap of faith, indulging my passion for event and wedding planning.
After completing my Event & Project Management studies I spent a few years in the corporate world in a role which included event co-ordination. After finding my niche I went on to work in the hospitality industry as an Event Co-ordinator at a 4 Star hotel in Umhlanga adding value to my growing experience in the art of event management.
Event planning has always held a special place in my heart, my passion borne out of my many opportunities within my circle who had confidence in me to plan and execute a variety of functions, each one steering me closer towards what I had set out to achieve in event management and that was ultimately to establish my own homegrown “What’s The Function” and never looking back !!
A growing number of beautiful venues across KZN have afforded me the privilege of stunning backdrops and a blank canvas with which to work to ensure my clients personal touches and requests so important to them, are embraced and their expectations met.
